Jonathan Gets Ready for Canadian Q-School

February 2018

After starting his professional career late in the summer of 2017, Jonathan played in various West Florida Golf Tour events through to the end of the fall season. The reslts were not quite what he wanted so he has spent the last 2 months away from competing to improve his game and build a new support team to get himself ready for the McKenzie Tour (Canadian) Q-School at the end of April this year.

His search for sponsors and financial support is still ongoing, however he has secured funding to play competitively on the West Florida Golf Tour for the next few months to prepare for Q-School. Jonathan would love to talk to anyone who might be interest in supporting him.

Over the past few months Jonathan has been working with his new swing coach, John Elliott, based at Golden Ocala Golf and Equestrian Club. Along with Elliott, Jonathan has been working with his mentor and short game coach, Jared Steger based up in Chicago. Together, the two have drastcially improved Jonathan's ball striking and scoring ability around the greens.

Since September, Jonathan has also been working hard with Dan Shipman, his TPI certified personal trainer and owner of Full Torque Fitness. Building core strength and stability has been their main goal and will help Jonathan not only to perform better, but aso to prevent injury and increase longevity of his career. Jonathan can attest that Full Torque fitness has provided a world class service and will continue to work with Dan as he continues to move up on to the tour.
